Now that COVID restrictions are loosening up, we are excited to announce the next phase in giving you prayerful access for personal time with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.

May 5, 2021: Slight Adjustments to COVID Protocols at Mass

As the vaccine becomes more and more accessible to those who want it, and more and more people return to Mass, our liturgy team is working diligently to make sure that our community is a place where everyone is welcome. We know that our parish family is made up of households of many different risk comfort levels. To that end, we will be designating spaces in our worship sites that accommodate varying levels of social distancing:

March 9, 2021: Bishop Ricken's General Directive Regarding COVID-19 Vaccines

The Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (CDF) in Rome, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), and Diocese of Green Bay Bishop Ricken have offered spiritual and pastoral guidance to the faithful regarding the COVID-19 Vaccines.

Parish Trustee Elections will be held May 1 & 2. MBS staff and leadership participated in a webinar with parishes around the Diocese of Green Bay to talk about how we have restructured, reorganized, and reoriented ourselves on mission in the past year.

Palm Sunday Masses: 4PM (SP), 8:30AM (SP) & 10:30AM (SM)

Palm Sunday, the Sunday before Easter, commemorates Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem to celebrate Passover before his death as recounted in the Gospels. Palms are distributed. (continued...)

Holy Thursday: Mass 7PM (SP)

Except for the resurrection on Easter, Holy Thursday is possibly one of the most important, complex, and profound days of celebration in the Catholic Church. Holy Thursday celebrates the institution of the Eucharist as the true body and blood of Jesus Christ and the institution of the sacrament of the priesthood. (continued...)

Good Friday: Celebration of the Lord's Passion 12:10PM (SP)

Good Friday is the day on which Catholics commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Good Friday is a day of fasting. Church bells are silent. Altars are left bare. (continued...)

Good Friday: Tenebrae Service 7PM (SP)

Tenebrae (“shadows” or “darkness”) is a Holy Week service that is at least 1,000 years old. Join us for an evening of readings, reflection, and music as we accompany Jesus in his last hours. (continued...)

Oshkosh Kids Foundation

The Oshkosh Kids Foundation helps the children of homeless or struggling families find stable housing, successful education, and a post-secondary path to self-sufficient lives. Needs include volunteers, wish list items, and monetary donations.

Easter Vigil 8PM (SP)

The entire liturgical year culminates in the Easter Vigil, an ancient liturgy celebrated on the night before Easter Sunday. Although celebrated Holy Saturday evening, it is the dramatic Easter vigil liturgy that marks the beginning of Easter. The Easter Vigil is packed with breathtaking symbolism and meaning. Explore Small Faith Group

A small, informal discussion group is for anyone who ask questions about Jesus and explore the Catholic faith a little more. The group meets Thursdays at Noon via Zoom and is open to anyone! Ideal for anyone who is curious about what Catholics believe or who is just intrigued by Jesus and His teachings.

Mission Update: January 2021

The Parish Pastoral Council has been restructured to support our parish mission roadmap and will be re-engaging in the coming month to assist in developing and implementing a strategic plan to help move our parish forward in the 4 key mission areas identified in our Mission Planning Roadmap. We are currently looking for parish council members who are interested in helping our parish bear measurable fruit in the 4 key mission areas.

Parish Annual Meeting: December 3, 2020

The annual meeting was an opportunity for all our parishioners to hear the updates on our parish stabilization plan for responding to the COVID crisis over the past few months and our parish mission plan and roadmap for the coming year.

Day By Day Warming Shelter

Provides safe temporary shelter, food and supportive services for adults. We advocate for collaborative, locally driven solutions for those experiencing homelessness in our community. Located in the MBS Mission Center at 449 High Ave. Needs include volunteers, wish list items, and monetary donations.
