Each month, Discipleship Nights are an opportunity for everyone at Most Blessed Sacrament Parish to dig deeper into an intentional faith habit that the entire parish is focusing on. Resources will be available for homes with members of all ages to take home and continue the discussion and reflection throughout the month. Discipleship Nights will give you and your household the practical and spiritual support you need to live a faith-filled life. Discipleship Nights are open to people of all ages and take place on the first Wednesday of each month from 6pm – 7:30pm.

In the wake of the rising cases of COVID throughout our Diocese, Bishop Ricken has reinstated the dispensation from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass. Bishop announced the dispensation in a decree on Monday, October 5; it takes effect immediately, and will remain in effect until further notice.

Thursday afternoon (September 24), the Winnebago County Health Department issued an update detailing the critical rate of spread of COVID in our community right now. Currently, the Oshkosh- Neenah area is #1 in the country where cases are rising the fastest. We want to urge you to use caution and good judgment when leaving home in the coming days, including coming to Mass.

Beginning the weekend of Sept. 19 and 20, all Catholics in the Diocese of Green Bay will again gather to worship and share in the Eucharist as a community of faith on Sundays. The lifting of the dispensation was announced in a decree issued by Bishop David Ricken on Monday, Sept. 7.

Governor Evers released several Executive Orders on Thursday, one declaring a Public Health Emergency and another issuing an Emergency Order. The Emergency Order requires individuals to wear face coverings when indoors and not in a private residence (with some exceptions as defined in the order). Face coverings are now required for anyone (age 5 and older) who attends Mass beginning this weekend - per the Governor's Order.

Beginning July 5 a Communion Service will be offered at 9:30AM at the St Peter site  for those who are not able or not comfortable attending Mass in person just yet. 

As part of our plan to bring us all safely back to communion and community, we are happy to announce that singing is coming back to Mass! Beginning this weekend (June 27 & 28) at all the Masses, a cantor will lead us in The Gloria, Responsorial Psalm, Alleluia, Holy, Holy, Holy, The Mystery of Faith, The Amen, and Lamb of God.

I am happy to announce that we are now entering Phase 2 of the plan to bring us safely back to communion and community! Public Masses with Moderate Limits on Public Gatherings and Moderate Social Distancing, will begin Corpus Christi weekend, June 13-14, 2020.

It is with great joy that I can announce that our Diocese of Green Bay and Most Blessed Sacrament Parish will begin the re-engagement process to bring us safely back to communion and community. As Bishop Ricken puts it, we are moving forward with both “bold faith and prudent action.” As the first step in this re-engagement process, Bishop Ricken has granted permission for those who desire and can safely do so to receive Holy Communion under specific guidelines beginning on Pentecost Sunday, May 31st.

Beginning Tuesday, March 24th and continuing every Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. for the foreseeable future, Fr. Jerry will take the monstrance from the exposition table and process from car to car.  Once he has finished blessing the occupants in each car, he will place the monstrance back on the exposition table and adoration will continue until 6:00 p.m.
