Please continue to pray for everyone affected by the July 27 tornado in Appleton, Neenah and Menasha, especially those whose homes, businesses and churches were damaged.

St. Mary, St. John, and the three Catholic cemeteries in Menasha sustained some of the most severe damage.

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Green Bay is working from its Menasha office to provide emergency financial assistance and short-term housing for affected individuals and families. Four ways you can help right now:

1. Volunteer to assist with cleanup and support efforts being coordinated through Volunteer Fox Cities.
    
2. Provide monetary donations to Catholic Charities’ disaster relief efforts at dioc.io/disasterrelief.
    
3. Continue praying for those affected and for everyone assisting with recovery.
   
   
4. Stay out of affected areas unless directed by volunteer assistance coordinators to help keep emergency response efforts moving safely and efficiently. 

As Bishop David Ricken wrote, “Let us all place our hearts and hands at the service of one another in this difficult time.”
