Halloween / All Saints / All Souls
October 31: Not just a secular holiday, Halloween has a special meaning for Catholics too. Originally called “All hallows eve” it is literally “the evening of All Saints Day.”
On Halloween, we recognize the reality evil. We lower the lights and face the darkness. We recalls the dangers and terrors of the world today, as we anticipate tomorrow's triumph. Learn more
November 1: There are many days in the Church year celebrating the lives of individual saints, but we know that there are more saints in heaven than there are days in the year!On All Saints Day, we commemorate every person in heaven (even those whose salvation is known only to God) - people in whom Jesus has conquered evil & darkness. Learn more
November 2: All Soul's Day commemorates all of the faithful departed, and invites us to pray for the poor souls of those who have died, but are still on the way to heaven.On All Souls Day, we visit cemeteries, attend special Masses, and pray for all those who have died. Our parish Memorial Mass for those in our parish who have died during the past year will be held Monday, November 2 at 5:15PM at the St. Mary Church.

Office Closed November 5
The parish offices will be closed Thursday, November 5, so our staff and teams can attend the Annual Diocesan Day of Encounter.
