I come as a fellow pilgrim. (Not perfect), but very passionate about helping us fall more in love with Jesus through the Holy Mass. Since I was little, music has been my way of praying, and I believe every note we sing together is a chance to magnify Christ’s love for us.
I graduated last year from UW–Green Bay as a Business Major. My heart has always been in people and music ministry, and God has given me wonderful opportunities — singing National Anthems at Packers and Brewer games, to traveling into schools across the country (and even beyond) to talk about God’s love and mental health, to also running a foundation on Main Street to fight teen suicide. But I see all of these as extensions of ministry to bring hope to the world. And now, I get to bring that same passion to you, here at MBS.
You might see me cantoring at Mass, leading music at Encounter, or walking Father Jerry’s pup Rosie once she likes me… You may also catch me wandering the sacristy pretending I know where everything is (I’ll get there soon).
My focus here is that in every liturgy, we experience the Mass as if it were our first and last- totally present at Calvary and fully alive in Christ. This month, I’m leaning on St. Thérèse of Lisieux as my mentor. Her “little way” reminds me that God works absolute WONDERS through small acts of love and littleness. That is how I hope to serve you here.
I am excited to get to know you personally. And I will be talking more about my journey at September’s Encounter, our monthly Adoration and Mass on the last Tuesday evening. I hope you are able to join us, Tuesday, September 30th.
Thank you for already making me feel so welcomed into this family. Please keep me in your prayers, and know that I will be praying for you.
Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us.
